On Thursday 9th July 2015, 37 cooks from 17 countries took part in one gigantic international chef swap. The Grand Gelinaz! Shuffle – the brainchild of Andrea Petrini and Alexandra Swenden – kicked off in Australia and went all the way across to the US west coast, with guest chefs unveiling themselves one by one after months of secrecy.
Among the World's 50 Best chefs taking part were René Redzepi of Noma, who cooked at Nahm in Bangkok; Osteria Francescana's Massimo Bottura, who stepped into Sean Gray's shoes at Momofuku Ko in New York; and Mauro Colagreco of Mirazur, who went to Hiša Franko in Kobarid.
