Jiquitaia is pure joy, from the second you spot the technicolour sunburst mural covering the front of the building. A classic Brazilian restaurant, the home-style cooking comes highly recommended, but naturally we're here for the drinks. The centrepiece of the bar offering is its extensive list of cachaças – with white and aged versions lovingly sourced from all over the country, right down to the owners' own expression. Cachaça is also a dominant ingredient in the cocktail list, appearing in drinks like the Suburbano, which mixes the house cachaça with artichoke amaro, Brazilian Mandaçaia honey and ginger ale, alongside classics like the Hanky Panky, stirring gin, vermouth and amaro.
