This unpretentious wine bar and cellar on Rundle Street was set up by Mark Reginato and Louis Schofield, two well-loved Aussie wine experts with more than 20 collective years in the game. Underground, with 130-year-old stonework walls and a restored pressed tin roof, the space certainly feels cellar-worthy. There are 20 wines by the glass here – starting reasonably cheaply – and more than 200 listed bottles. However, it also has South Australia’s only Moritz Spanish lager tap and two tasty house cocktails, a negroni and a martini. Cheese and salty snacks accompany the list, served up by passionate and approachable staff.
