Thanks to its catchy vintage vibes and unique setting – the bar is part heritage house from the early 1900s, part spacious warehouse spanning over 2,000 square feet, part breezy patio – this newcomer to the Vancouver scene has made quite the splash since opening in 2022. A retro-cool attitude is established from the get-go, thanks to the vintage decor and ‘70s colour scheme, and this quirkiness extends into the main bar and grill space, where high ceilings and exposed ductwork set the stage for the contemporary takes on the “bar & grill” model. A wood-fired grill churns out delectable upscale bar snacks (oysters, short ribs etc.) and larger seasonal dishes (including a full charcoal-grilled teriyaki menu during lunch hours), and the cocktail menu is full of tongue-in-cheek combinations, like slushies, shots and cocktails featuring ingredients like cereal-infused coconut milk, spirulina and mandarin sherbet.
