The Aubrey is a self proclaimed eccentric Japanese izakaya with incredible views over Hong Kong’s Victoria Harbour, owing to its location on the 25th floor of the Mandarin Oriental hotel. The decor is just as eccentric, dotted with curios, vintage art deco-esque light fixtures and regal greens and reds. The bar is helmed by purveyor of fine hospitality Devender Seghal, and features an impressive collection of Japanese spirits from gins and whiskies to awamoris and shochus. The Aubrey features the main bar, where signatures and a seasonal menu based on a Japanese fruit are served. Then there’s the four-seater Omakase Cocktail Bar, serving cocktails omakase style, and a champagne and sake bar.
