The Zuk Bar

Located in Shanghai’s The Sukhothai hotel, this cosy ground floor bar opens on to the bustle of Weihai Road. The bar itself is wonderfully designed with white and green forest tiles, walnut trimmings and a brass counter, over which high-brow cocktails are simply served to the city’s thirsty visitors. The effort behind each drink is apparent on further inspection of the menu, if not in the pared-back presentation itself, with explorations into aging, distilling and fermenting all done in-house.
