Morisoñando

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic

Named after a three-ingredient cold drink that combines milk, orange juice and sugar, Morisoñando dishes up a fresh take on Dominican fare. Seasonal and local ingredients are very much the star here, and the restaurant pulls no punches when it comes to flavour, with some of its most mouthwatering dishes including deep-fried cassava balls, raw conch ceviche and a deliciously rich goat curry. All aim to hero forgotten Dominican flavour combinations, alongside cocktails that are equally creative. The kitchen also does much to support local trade with a roster of small-scale farmers, artisans and fisheries on the books.
