Cravan
Paris, France
Cravan is the essence of Parisian chic. Named after Arthur Cravan, famed dadaist and nephew of one Oscar Wilde, the bar embraces Cravan's own duality as a poet and a boxer with its daytime focus on coffee and its nightly dedication to cocktails. Set within a listed Art Nouveau site, which has played host to a series of bars since 1911, drinks are simple, elegant and rooted in cocktail history. Try the Tunnel, which twists a classic Negroni by adding a splash of dry vermouth for extra complexity, or the house French 75. Don't miss the food either, from oysters to grilled cheese sandwiches.
