Frankfurt's red-light district has developed quite the bar scene. Hunky Dory was founded Armin Azadpour, an alumnus of nearby establishment The Kinly Bar, who took inspiration for the bar's name from a classic David Bowie album. The bar itself is a lot of fun – there are antique arcade machines and guests can order drinks to their booths via vintage phones. There's also a selection of drinks on tap, plus punches and some kooky original cocktails such as the ‘Charles Grey’ (Bombay Sapphire, Earl Grey tea and house-made tonic).
