Hytra

Athens, Greece

Relocating in 2012 to the sixth floor of Athens’ gleaming Onassis Cultural Centre, Hytra has kept itself at the precipice of modern Greek gastronomy through its fluidity. During the warmer months, it takes full advantage of the building’s terrace, offering diners panoramic views of the Acropolis and Mount Lycabettus. While high concept dishes remain accessible, chef George Felemegkas strives to use innovation and years of experience in some of the world's best kitchens to push forward the restaurant to new frontiers: think free-range rooster from Alexandrakis Farm and milk-fed lamb enhanced by herbs grown in-house.
