A veteran of the Milan cocktail scene, Rita first opened its doors in 2002 and has been providing locals and visitors with high-end cocktails and world-class service ever since. Modelled on a classic American bar, Rita was a pioneer in an age when the use of fresh, seasonal cocktail ingredients were anything but the norm. The bar’s co-founder, Edoardo Nono, eschewed the more common artificial syrups and instead focused on in-house ingredients. Chiara Buzzi joined the team in 2018 as associate partner, leading to the creation of nearby Rita’s Tiki Room soon after. Back at the original Rita, the extensive cocktail selection spans three categories, namely Restoring, Refreshing and Relaxing, with an additional barrel-aged option available too. To soak it all up, there’s everything from crocchette di zucchine to to burgers and steak.
