Located within The Edition’s second Japanese hotel, the relatively-new Tokyo Edition Ginza, Punch Room takes inspiration from the private clubs of 19th century London. In keeping with this, it offers authentic punches – likely the first in Japan to do so. These have been given a local twist, showcasing native ingredients that bring a sustainable element to the menu. The inaugural drinks list is entitled Wonderland, and highlights Japanese culture and history through sips such as the Coconut Candy and Clear Hanabi, which is linked to Aomori apples; or the Davis & White, celebrating Okinawan fruits and Japanese whisky. The bar itself, located on the first-floor mezzanine, is suave and sophisticated, with dark wood panelling and a beautifully-lit back bar. The hotel is also home to brasserie Sophie at Edition, the Lobby Bar and rooftop natural wine bar The Roof.
