There’s something to be said for a bar that’s just as well known for its world-class cocktails as it is for its welcoming atmosphere. Descend into this Warsaw basement cocktail bar, with its deep emerald walls, filament lightbulbs and quirky decor, and you’ll find friendly bartenders creating a fascinating array of drinks from unusual ingredients, some made in-house. These are playfully and originally presented, but not unnecessarily complicated. This slightly irreverent attitude extends to the cocktail menu itself – there’s a Solero drink with vodka, passion fruit, cream and more, and a Silver Surfer cocktail that needs to be ordered to be believed that its component parts work together successfully.
