Jigger & Pony has all the trappings of a character-steeped, independent bar – so much so that you'd never guess it's actually set within upscale Amara Hotel. The brainchild of Indra Kantono and Guoyi Gan, the bar's move from Amoy Street to the hotel in 2018 allowed the team and concept to evolve and grow, but thankfully not at the expense of the cocktails. At the heart of the bar's 'menu-zine', you'll find a joyful reboot of time-worn classics, such as the delectbale Espresso Martini, which mixes vodka with the bar's own coffee blend, coffee flower honey and cacao tuile. The vibe is lush, warm and convivial, with dancing encouraged and laybacks expected.
