One of only a handful of fine dining restaurants within Galle Fort’s historic ramparts, it tends to be first choice for those looking to impress their other halves or raise a glass of (vintage) champagne to a special occasion. The food is like a whistle stop tour of Italy’s 20 regions. The a la carte menu is organised into the traditional four courses ranging from San Daniele cured prosciutto with sous-vide cured papaya right through to decadent dolci, including a light-as-air tiramisu. To try all the kitchen’s greatest hits in one sitting, opt for the seven-course degustation menu paired with exquisite Italian wines.
