Meet Sven Wassmer, the man responsible for the the wonder that is Memories. Within the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz, and with Andreas Caminada’s lauded Igniv for a neighbour, Wassmer was always going to bring his A-game. Indeed, he worked under Caminda at his flagship, Schloss Schauenstein, before moving on to another two-star establishment in the Vals resort. Clearly rooted in the Swiss Alps, his approach is driven by the natural world, following micro-seasons and channelling nostalgia into a modern, pared-back cuisine that speaks of the great outdoors.
