Getting into Bar Home is an experience in itself – if you're looking for a traditional frontage, you're going to keep looking. Instead, keep an eye out for galvanised metal gates, once you're through you'll be led through a courtyard into a little house (hence calling the bar 'Home'), which is decorated with bright turquoise walls, fringed scarlet drapes and dark highly-polished wood for a distinct feeling of Victoriana. You'll know you're in a serious drinking den for the packed back bar, before you'veeven set eyes on the cocktail list, which more than holds its own with an array of creative serves. Drinks include the Guatemala which mixes aged rum, scotch, dark chocolate, sweet vermouth and cold-brew coffee, and if you're feeling a little warm you can cool down with a Ramos Gin Fizz ice lolly.
