Coast puts seafood at the forefront of its menu, with a brigade run by award-winning Thai chef Ian Kittichai combining the sea's bounty with classic technique and the flavours of his homeland. Tucked inside Taipei's Regent Hotel, the restaurant launched in late 2020 but has already garnered global acclaim. It's little wonder though, with its modern but opulent interior paired with a thrilling menu. Dishes draw on the Thai tradition of combining sweet and savoury ingredients and could include crab with passionfruit and wax apple, or Yilan prawn with watermelon and chilli, culminating in a dessert of coconut, caviar and pandan leaf.
