Bullard & Worth is hidden away behind a chipped wooden door on Edinburgh's Rose Street, on the former site of Bryant & Mack Detective Agency, which decided it was time for a change after cracking its final case. It's a pretty authentic rendering of the speakeasy genre, right down to the drinks, which tend towards boozier Prohibition-style cocktails, and the aprons, braces and bow ties of the bar staff. There's some light relief though, with drinks like the refreshingly complex ‘No Sleep 'Til Brooklyn’, which mixes Brooklyn Gin with sea buckthorn, hibiscus-infused honey, orange blossom water, cranberry and lemon.
