The Ned London

London, UK

The Ned London marks the first effort from SoHo House founder, Nick Jones, to expand the group’s vision for homey yet hip - and always social - lodgings. Indeed, the property brims over with outlets, amenities and options for guests. Fitting for the Financial District (aka the Square Mile) location, the Ned occupies a converted bank space, which is still resplendent with marble columns and features a soaring ceiling. The 252 rooms, decked out in a Brit-deco-glam homage to the 1920s, are span from a 17-19 square meter ‘Crash Pad’ to the 100 sq metre ‘Lutyen’s Suite’. In the public areas, three bars and seven restaurants serve up all manners of drink and dining. While the Ned does not require membership for entry, an additional three outlets are available to members of the flag’s club. A spa, pool, nail salon, hair salon, barbershop, Cowshed store and osteopathy clinic are also hidden within the grand building. The 620 sq meter gym boasts a cult following attributable to the airy space, intricate neo-Edwardian motif and state of the art equipment.
