The Bellagio
Las Vegas, US
The Bellagio’s dancing fountains are synonymous with Las Vegas’ emergence as a luxury travel destination and the rest of the property does not disappoint, either. Upon entrance, guests find themselves beneath the 50-foot-tall glass ceilings of the legendary conservatory surrounded by thousands of plants in bloom. The botanical garden’s perimeter is lined by a showcase of the Bellagio’s dozens of shops and restaurants. The fine dining options include outposts of Spago, Le Cirque, Michael Mina, Petrossian, LAGO by Julian Serrano, Picasso and, of course, a decadent buffet. An art nouveau pool complex features cabanas and daybeds. True to Sin City form the room’s are large and indulgent. Foyers and bathrooms boast generous use of marble and bedroom furniture is backlit while drapes are automated. 4000 individual suites and rooms spread across 77 acres make the property well suited for large groups as well as travelers. The ultimate manifestation of Vegas is the 156,00 sq ft casino. One of the Strip’s largest, the floor has more than 200 tables, 2300 slot machines and a sportsbook. Tired of sport? The surrealist acrobatic dance group, Cirque du Soleil, also calls the Bellagio Theatre home.
