This sprawling low-rise resort faces the Arabian gulf amid manicured greenery. Since its launch in 2014, the beachfront oasis has been serving up halcyon days to discerning travellers who come for its warm hospitality, beautiful spaces and roll call of culinary temptations. The hotel channels renewed thoughtfulness to Four Seasons' expert mélange of creature comforts: Arabian accents complement the honey-hued Spanish-style architecture; fresh-cut flowers abound; airy rooms (some of Dubai’s largest) are dressed with outsized chaise lounges, leather headboards and mid-century modern furniture; terraces come with loungers or plush seating and deliver ocean or towering cityscape views. It’s all very sumptuous, yet very understated. Alongside two serviced pools (one is adults only), there’s a wide stretch of parasol-dotted beach to enjoy, with plenty of water sports options including Efoils and wake surfing. Desert-based adventures are also easily arranged, with a pampering spa providing balm thereafter. Then there’s the food scene – a globetrotting array of 11 establishments found across the site and its neighbouring ‘Restaurant Village’. Standouts include Coya (No.28 on MENA’s 50 Best Restaurants list 2023), renowned steakhouse Nusr-Et, seafood stalwart Sea Fu and Med-leaning Nammos. Hendricks is the go-to for liquid pleasures, though cocktails are also served in the buzzy rooftop lounge.
