Family first: Named after his children, Ayman Baky opened this original Sachi in 2014 as a reservation-only restaurant, a concept unheard of in Cairo at the time. With a menu rooted in family dinners, comfort food is the star, given thoughtful delivery and served in a space curated for gatherings of friends, family and loved ones. 

Fine comfort food: Mediterranean cuisine is generously featured on the menu; A whole roast chateaubriand or trussed chicken, carved tableside, are what guests have come to expect from Sachi. The truffle mushroom risotto and salmon salad round out most tables’ selections and pair well with the house Alesana wine. The menu and its recipes have stood the test of time, placing diners’ satisfaction above all else.

Cairo cornerstone: A gastronomic visit to Cairo is incomplete without a visit to the first jewel in the Baky Hospitality crown. This is also a restaurant group that gives back to the community, hosting fundraisers and events that tackle social issues in the Egyptian capital.
