There is still time to apply for a grant from the 50 Best Recovery Fund – the deadline for submitting applications is now 23:59 UK time on Sunday 2nd August. Any independent restaurant or bar can apply for a one-off payment of up to US$5,000 that they will not need to pay back – it takes just 10 minutes to apply

Send them our way. 50 Best has extended its grant application period until Sunday, 2nd August, at 23:59 UK time in order to give more venues the opportunity to apply for a donation of up to US $5,000 that will help support their business.

The form is simple and should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. To see if you are eligible, check the below criteria:
1. The restaurant or bar must have been trading before 2 January 2019
2. It must still have been trading immediately prior to the coronavirus lockdown in early 2020
3. It must have an active website or social media account
4. Restaurants must be independent, and not part of a multi-site chain, with a workforce of fewer than 80 people
5. Bars must be independent, and not part of a multi-site chain, with a workforce of fewer than 40 people
