Asia’s finest bars and top cocktail creatives will land in Macau for the unveiling of Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025, sponsored by Perrier, on 15 July.
After last year’s events in Hong Kong, Asia’s 50 Best Bars sails across the Zhujiang River Estuary to Macau for its 10th edition and the reveal of this year’s hotly anticipated 1-50 list at Wynn Palace.
While this is not the first time 50 Best has held its legendary celebrations in the city – it was host to the reveal of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants in 2018 and 2019 – 2025 marks the first year the Asian bar community will congregate in Macau.
Known for its vibrant blend of Portuguese and Chinese heritage, Macau has emerged as a rising star destination for cocktail and gastronomy aficionados. Often credited with crafting the world’s first fusion food, expect the flavours of Portugal, China, India and Africa woven through signature dishes in fine diners and street corners to unique libations inspired by Macau’s cultural roots.

As this year’s official venue partner, a series of spectacular celebrations are set to unfold across Wynn Resorts' Macau properties, including the Bartenders’ Feast – where the teams behind the soon-to-be-ranked cocktail spots come together to celebrate for the first time – and the now iconic Closing Party: a feast of food, fun and fantastic cocktails to bid goodbye to this year’s festivities.
The 10th edition of the event programme will also feature a series of 50 Best Signature Sessions: one-time-only collaborations between the hottest international bars paired with leading local culinary establishments that’s open to anyone to attend or book. A stellar host of special awards will be unveiled in the weeks leading up to the live event programme that celebrate bars with the Michter’s Art of Hospitality Award, and incredible individuals with the Altos Bartenders’ Bartender Award, a peer-voted accolade recognising a person that’s had a demonstrably positive impact on the drinks world over the past year.
The extended ranking of bars ranked 51st to 100th will also be revealed a few weeks ahead of the ceremony, shining the spotlight on an even wider and more diverse roster of incredible drinks establishments across the continent.
