Massimo Bottura will join two other restaurateurs from The World's 50 Best Restaurants at Ferrari Trento's Art of Hospitality event at Identità Golose Milano next week.
The chef-owner of Osteria Francescana in Modena, which rose to No.1 in the 50 Best list last year, will speak about the Italian approach to hospitality at the Milan edition of the Italian food convention, Identità Golose.
Bottura will be joined by Umberto Bombana, winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award at Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2017 and chef-owner of 8 ½ Otto e Mezzo Bombana in Hong Kong, and Søren Ledet, Restaurant Director and co-owner of Geranium in Copenhagen.
The event, which begins at 1pm Milan time on Monday 6th March, will be hosted by Paolo Marchi, creator of Identità Golose, 50 Best Group Editor William Drew and Matteo Lunelli, CEO of Ferrari Trento. Speakers will also include Marco Reitano, sommelier at La Pergola in Rome and President of the Association Noi di Sala and Maurizio Saccani, Director of Operations at Rocco Forte Hotels.
50 Best joined forces with Ferrari Trento last year to introduce the Ferrari Trento Art of Hospitality Award, celebrating an individual restaurant in The World's 50 Best list for its unique approach to hospitality. Its inaugural winner was Eleven Madison Park, the New York City restaurant run by Will Guidara and chef Daniel Humm that is known for its warm service style and tailored approach to dining.
A new winner of the Ferrari Trento Art of Hospitality Award will be announced next month at the 15th annual 50 Best awards ceremony in Melbourne, Australia.
