The World’s 50 Best Bars will bring together the bartenders from each of the list's historical No.1s to celebrate its 10th Anniversary at a special event, presented by elit® Vodka, in New York City on Tuesday 12th February 2019.
Since the first list of The World’s 50 Best Bars was published in 2009, six bars across the globe have earned the title of The World’s Best Bar, the most prestigious honour to be bestowed by the Academy of more than 500 drinks experts and cocktail enthusiasts that vote for the list every year. On Tuesday 12th February 2019, the bartenders behind each of these six bars will form the sensational line-up at a special edition of #50BestTalks held in New York to commemorate the list’s 10th birthday.
The 10th Anniversary with be the first event in the US for The World’s 50 Best Bars and the first time that representatives of all six No.1 bars in the history of the list gather to share their knowledge, ideas and expectations around the world of cocktails.
An occasion to look back on how the drinks world has changed over the past decade, the 10th Anniversary edition of the thought-leadership event #50BestTalks will feature the bartenders behind legendary bars Milk & Honey, PDT, Artesian, The Dead Rabbit, American Bar and Dandelyan. As well as individual presentations to discuss the upcoming trends and innovations in the bar world, the event will also include a panel discussion with all the previous No.1s.
#50BestTalks will be held at Guastavino’s in Manhattan on 12th February and will be followed by a unique 10th Anniversary cocktail party attended by some of the world’s leading bartenders, media and drinks experts. Find below the speakers for the 10th Anniversary #50BestTalks in New York:
