The first female chef in the US to receive the coveted three Michelin stars, Dominique Crenn has garnered award after award at her SF restaurant, including a breakthrough into The World’s 50 Best list in 2019. Seafood and plants dominate the tasting menu, with each course based on the French-born chef’s ‘Poetic Culinaria’ concept and many ingredients sourced from her own organic farm. Just eight tables make up the cosy dining room, where the artwork is painted by Crenn’s artist father. Service is as artful as the food is artistic.
