The genre of farm-to-table takes on new meaning when the restaurant in question is located on the farm itself. About an hour’s drive southwest of Toronto, a contemporary black barn anchors the 42-acre property that houses the restaurant, which, on the top floor, delivers sweeping views of the regenerative farm, herb garden and peach orchard below. Offering seasonal cuisine filtered through the lens of French technique, the pre-fixe menu changes often, focussing ingredients grown on-site in addition to ones sourced from surrounding farms and regional purveyors. Wine pairings, featuring those made at the winery, plus other low-intervention offerings from the area, can be added to reservations or on arrival.
