The son of Québécois singing legend Michel Rivard, chef Antonin Mousseau-Rivard opened Le Mousso to a chorus of critical acclaim in 2015. The dining room – featuring Scandi-inspired grey felt-covered seating and glazed crockery – has recently reduced in capacity from 55 to 48 following a move to a new venue down the street. However, Mousseau-Rivard’s seasonal 12-course tasting menu continues to evolve apace. Meticulous creations such as celery root mousse with smoked trout, sprinkled with cinder dust, arrive with sublime wine pairings.
