- No.48 Asia's 50 Best Restaurants 2021
Seventh Son’s suckling pig is one of Hong Kong’s most Instagrammed dishes – and not just for aesthetic reasons: it is easily one of the best in town, with its crispy paper-thin skin and tender, juicy meat. Head chef Chui Wai Kwan was part of the family that founded Cantonese institution Fook Lam Moon, where he apprenticed under his father. He eventually branched out on his own and named his restaurant as such because he is the seventh son in the family. His brand of traditional Cantonese cuisine includes crispy pork belly, deep-fried frog legs and scrambled eggs with shrimp.
