Chinese cuisine with French influence is the premise behind Tate’s ‘Edible Stories,’ an eight-course adventure through chef Vicky Lau’s cooking. Each dish is an ode to a timeless creation, such as pâté en croûte with abalone, pork and Chinese mushrooms. Lau’s graphic design history comes through in colourful, creative art on the plate, and the dining room itself is an interior design dream, with pastel pink velvet banquettes and etched steel tables. Lau is a recipient of the Asia’s Best Female Chef title.
