There’s a rich history spanning more than six centuries in the building that now houses Alma in Prague. Formerly a cinema that showed arthouse films until the 1960s, the space breathes new life not just into the building but to the broader neighbourhood, featuring a cocktail bar, a wine bar, a restaurant, a café and a liquid laboratory. The concept comes from the team behind Kro Kitchen, whose approach is all about nose-to-tail and from-scratch production, with a slew of ingredients prepared on-site. From the all-day café, you'll find specialty coffee, homemade matcha and kombucha, while the wine bar offers an intriguing selection of natural wines and trusted classics. Cocktails feature a spectrum of unusual flavours that reflect Alma's respect for natural ingredients and seasonality such as bugleweed and and pickled pine cone, with food following the same zero-waste philoshopy fostered at Kro.
