The Park Hyatt Paris sits on the historic rue de la Paix just steps away from Place Vendôme’s glittering high fashion boutiques. Inside, the 156 rooms and suites designed by Ed Tuttle – famous for his long collaboration with Aman – offer a contemporary classic feel with clean lines, warm wood and subtle gold accents. Café Jeanne serves all day casual dining but the real star is PUR’ by chef Jean-François Rouquette. After a showstopping redesign b architect Hugo Toro, who meticulously selected details from the furniture to the napkin rings, the restaurant is glossier than ever. The spa ditches the typical all-white look in favour of rich mahogany, black Zimbabwean granite and glamourous touches of onyx and gold mosaics. Facials use inimitable La Mer products and and massages are enhanced witharomatic oils from French perfumer Blaise Mautin, whose creations also grace Le Bristol.
