Bulgari Roma
Rome, Italy
Bulgari’s journey from its Roman roots nearly 140 years ago has reached new heights with the opening of its boutique hotel in Piazza Augusto Imperatore in 2023. Set in the Campo Marzio district, Rome’s centre of high fashion, the hotel is steps away from Bulgari’s flagship store on Via Condotti, anchoring it in the brand’s heritage. Designed by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, the interiors reflect the Eternal City’s rich palette, with warm oranges and reds that evoke Roman sunsets. Italian craftsmanship takes centre stage, from bespoke fabrics inspired by Bulgari’s iconic motifs to handcrafted Murano glass and swathes of Mediterranean marble, alongside 4,500 plants woven throughout the property. Exclusive to this location are the Bulgari Dolci chocolaterie and patisserie and a library celebrating Rome’s storied past. The Bulgari Suite is in a league of its own, offering a palatial experience with ten windows framing the Mausoleum of Augustus and interiors that combine grandeur with modern comfort. On the rooftop, panoramic views of Rome’s timeless skyline are next-level, while the spa below channels ancient Roman baths, complete with a shimmering mosaic-lined pool perfect for indulgent dips.
