Pare de Sufrir translates as 'end your suffering', and while we couldn't possibly imply that alcohol is the solution to life's problems, a judiciously administered mezcal isn't always the worst idea. The bar is stocked with more than 70 varieties of tequila's smoky cousin, including several bottles of pechuga – produced using chicken breast, which tastes a lot better than it sounds. Founder Pedro Jiménez also produced mezcal documentary 'Viva Mezcal' and founded mezcal producers' organisation Mezonte. Ask nicely and he might share some of his wisdom with you.
