Bringing the best of Mexico to Rotterdam, Botanero is a bright and airy space worth dropping by any time of the day. This casual cantina draws heavily on Mexican flavours and ingredients, as well as further afield to the rest of Latin America. The cocktail list is led by the classics, backed up by an impressive selection of Mexican spirits. Among these shelves of tequila and mezcal is a nicely curated range of spirits from around the world, including local Dutch spirits. The botana (snack) menu consists of South American dishes with a Dutch twist, alongside a selection of tacos to choose from. The team at Botanero makes good use of their spacious venue, with cocktail workshops and spirits tastings, and there’s a private dining room too.
