The Kitchin
Edinburgh, UK
A cèilidh to all things Scottish. Situated in a converted whisky warehouse in Leith, the restaurant’s décor is all woolly stools and stone-hewn walls and the seasonal produce features the likes of Tobermory langoustines and North Sea wild halibut. Run by the excellent Tom Kitchin and his wife Michaela, the restaurant’s elegant, French-leaning menus reflect his early Gleneagles training and stints under Alain Ducasse and Pierre Koffmann. Attention to detail is outstanding, service impeccable and pricing represents real value.
