A rebel chef and a luxury fashion house collide in a chic, unforgettable experience

The man, the myth: In the culinary realm, few names shine as brightly as Gaggan Anand, the spirited chef who pioneered progressive Indian cuisine at the original iteration of his eponymous restaurant, a four-time number one in Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list. Known for his experiential, limitless dining style, Gaggan teamed up with luxury French maison Louis Vuitton for the ultimate melange of haute fashion and avant-garde cuisine.      

Immersive journey: It’s all in the details at the very first Louis Vuitton combined retail concept and restaurant in South Asia located in Gaysorn Amarin mall. Set on the top level of LV The Place Bangkok, the ambiance reflects Louis Vuitton’s essence through elegant earthy tones accented by bright pops of orange from the fringed curtains and artwork. Monogrammed plates and napkin rings adorn the marble tables, while the servers and chefs are dressed head-to-toe in Louis Vuitton. A striking resin structure by Draga and Aurel along with a pyramid of LV trunks at the entrance make for the perfect photo op.

Cross-cultural menu: Beyond an intimate and sophisticated dining room, you’ll discover essential Gaggan flair though iconic dishes like Lick it Up or the famous yogurt explosion. The emphasis here is on progressive Asian flavours inspired by India, Thailand and Japan, highlighting the travel elements of LV. Led by chefs Vix Rathour and Lada Shurinova, the team crafts seasonal menus that blend techniques and flavour profiles reminiscent of Gaggan’s flagship chef’s table restaurant with an additional French touch, LV motifs and lots of surprises.

Bonus point: Award-winning pastry chef Dej Kewkacha brings his expertise to the dessert menu, adding a sweet finale.
