Trescha

Buenos Aires, Argentina

Trescha is one of Buenos Aires' most exclusive destinations, with only 10 seats and one menu offering 14 courses (or 'moments' as they prefer to call them) alongside a picture perfect cocktail terrace for an after-dinner drink or two. Chef Patron Tomás Treschanski is only 25 years old but has an exceptional list of accolades to his name, including stints at Stockholm's Frantzén and Madrid's Barrafina before arriving in the Argentinian capital to open his namesake restaurant in a remodelled townhouse. It goes without saying that dishes change often and offer compelling combinations of ingredients and influences, such as of duck with Ecuadorian cocoa, culurgione (a type of Sardinian filled pasta) stuffed with candied duck leg and leek, Indian mint chutney and carrot sriracha. Don't skip the drinks pairing either, which flits between wines, champagnes and non-alcoholic cocktails.
