The distinguished Kämp Bar might have been refurbished recently, but it’s been a stalwart of the Helsinki drinking scene since 1887. While pondering a scenario in which these walls could talk, you can take in the timeless elegance of the space, and enjoy some fine libations while you’re at it, like so many before you. A true American Bar in every way, and the first of its kind in Helsinki, there’s table service and a handful of seats at the bar itself. Cocktails here quite rightly pay tribute to the classics, but the list also features more contemporary drinks too, and there are upwards of a hundred champagnes on offer. And when the sun’s out, there’s a charming summer terrace outside.
