Romero

Amman, Jordan

Romero was founded in 1979 as a result of Amman's Italian Hospital bringing immigrants to the city, the idea was to share their national cuisine with the local community and the restaurant has been thriving ever since, and now has five sister restaurants throughout Amman. The restaurant dining room is an elegant space, all high ceilings, wood floors and white tablecloths, adorned with candelabras and crystal chandeliers, leading out onto a secluded terrace overlooking the harbour, making it one of the city's finest spots to watch the sun set over dinner. The menu offers classic Italian dishes like cacio e pepe or bresaola with figs, parmesan and olive oil, and desserts of tiramisu and homemade gelato, and is set up for a classic four-course feast to linger over either at a long lunch or a leisurely dinner, in true Italian style.
