Self-billed as farm-to-table, this community orientated eatery in Nairobi is a glorious celebration of fresh produce. However, its sustainable ethos extends beyond what’s on the plate and into the local entrepreneurs and talent it supports. The menu is divided into categories such as Hunter, Gatherer, Farmer and Fisher to help guide dietary requirements and lifestyle choices. Depending on what’s in season, don’t leave without trying the white fish tiradito (raw fish in a spicy sauce), tongue taco or wild mushroom skewer. The dining room is very chic – more beach club than farm shop – with wicker lighting and linen drapes. No wonder this pop-up went permanent.
