Ovo is a vegan, vegetarian and flexitarian's dream. The concept was dreamt up by owner Amal Chahine who, as a home cook, knew she wanted to channel her love of travel into food, bringing her vision to life in a sleek, minimalist space in Kuwait City. On weekends, it's a vibey spot, with entire tables ordering thin crust 'skinny' avocado pizzas, beef brisket tacos, falafel omelettes, or picture-perfect mini olive oil cakes, plated up so beautifully you won't be able to resist a snap for the 'Gram. No one cuisine stands out, but there's plenty on offer from Italy, the Levant, India and California to please all palates.
