Stir is a wonderful combination of contemporary cocktail bar with vintage touches, and all firmly informed by its Vietnamese roots – the sum of which has earned it the country’s only spot in the top 100 of Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2022, at 84th place. This somewhat hidden first-floor bar is reminiscent of Vietnam in the 1960s and 1970s, and is a comfortable, intimate space – all the better for exploring its range of cocktails inspired by the traditional, street drinks of Vietnam. The Nuoc Mia Highball, based on fresh-pressed sugarcane juice, for example, combines this with Zacapa 12 Rum, calamansi juice, pandan cordial and soda. Also prominent on the menu is a list of ten classic cocktails, faithfully recreated. Non-alcoholic cocktails are well covered, with a selection featuring kombucha, cold-brew coffee and more.
