Piano35 Bar

Turin, Italy

There’s no missing Piano35 Bar. It crowns Turin’s glass-wrapped Intesa Sanpaolo skyscraper like a futuristic beacon, with the backdrop of the Alps (very nearly) outdone by what’s in your glass. Up here, you’re far above the bustle in a swish but pared-back space, with plush seating that beckons punters to sink in and stay, while sleek metal fixtures add a touch of Succession-like drama to the vibes. As for the cocktails, you’ll have no trouble indulging in the Sottosopra – a blend of mezcal, maraschino and lime, which gives a smoky-sweet kick that lingers. For something fresher, go for the Pisco 1615, which injects Mediterranean flair into a Peruvian classic, with ripe tomato and smoked melon added to give an earthy sweetness to the tart base.
