A departure from Dubai’s usual template, Mythos Kouzina & Grill is more low-key than high-octane; it’s more a place to be serene than seen, with warm, soft tones of terracotta and tactile wicker creating a cool, calming space within the Industrial Greek-chic white stone walls. Siblings and owners Alex and Fay Economides designed it to be a down-to-earth dining experience, and service here is warm and welcoming. You’ll find the usual Greek staples – tzatziki, souvlaki, gyros – on the menu, but best-sellers include slow-cooked suckling lamb with pilafi rice, herbs and kelafograviera cheese and lightly charred octopus grilled with fava and tomato. Like any good Greek taverna, it can get lively during peak times – whether you’re enjoying a casual dinner or marking an important milestone, the team doesn’t scrimp on the spirit of celebration.
