Zenith gets its name from its vantage point, way up on the 17th floor of Amman's luxurious St. Regis hotel and resort, where it brings a little bit of the classic New York grill straight to Jordan. The dining room decor is a moody mix of dark leather, polished wood, mirrors and wrought-iron chandeliers, complete with its own cocktail bar and a wraparound terrace enjoying outstanding views over the city. This is a place to see and be seen and comes alive in the evenings with a buzzy crowd here for a good time, the atmosphere boosted by regular DJ sets. As for the menu, it's a whistle-stop tour of rich, crowd-pleasing classics from truffled steak tartare and chilled seafood platters to aged bone-in rib-eye and all-American apple pie.
