A Montevideo favourite for more than 25 years, Café Misterio serves an extensive sushi and sashimi menu (reputed to be the best in the Uruguayan capital) alongside comfort food such as lamb empanadas, melted brie on toast and grilled squid. There are also healthy and nutritious mains such as grilled zucchini salads, vegetable and lamb risotto, daily catch with carrot puree and homemade pappardelle with meatballs.
